Due to high wind and weather concerns forecasted for Friday, November 4, 2022, Toyland will now be held on the Bentonville Square on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Downtown Bentonville will transform into a Universe of Play with the return of Toyland on Friday, November 11, 2022. The family-friendly community event begins at 11:00 am and runs until 8:00 pm on the Bentonville Square. Mainstage programming will start at 2:00 pm.
Throughout the day, kids of all ages can test out the newest toys exclusive to Walmart and available for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Characters from Paw Patrol, Minions, and Cocomelon will be on the Bentonville Square to interact with children and take photos! Santa will also be available all day for photos and holiday requests.
Toyland is a free, hands-on experience for all ages and will include demo tables, play areas and race track sets; areas to test ride scooters, e-scooters, and e-bikes; inflatables, photo booths and coloring walls; and free giveaways and raffles!
Brands showcased at Toyland include Fisher Price, Hasbro, Huffy, LEGO, Disney, Mattel, Paramount, and more!
Toyland is produced by Downtown Bentonville Incorporated (DBI) and is presented by Walmart. Additional support is provided by Visit Bentonville and the City of Bentonville.
The community event, canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, typically draws nearly 20,000 visitors to Downtown Bentonville.
“It’s the most interactive way for kids to make holiday wish lists! We’re excited to partner with Walmart and its vendors again to host Toyland for our community. It’s a festive, spirited day for the entire family and serves as an ideal launching point for the holiday season. We encourage guests to enjoy the Toyland experience and visit our brick-and-mortar retail shops and restaurants while downtown,” says DBI Executive Director Andrew Heath.
Heath adds that community events like Toyland offer expanded opportunities for retail and restaurant business owners in Downtown Bentonville.
Attendees are encouraged to utilize public parking for Toyland and may need to consider biking or carpooling downtown on Friday for the event. Please be advised of downtown street closures on Friday, November 11, 2022.
