How does it work?

Here's how it worked last time:

The Rules

All participants must register online between March 5th and March 11th.

Each family is eligible for one set $30 Downtown Dollars.

Registered participants must pick up Downtown Dollars on Friday, March 12th, between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm at 102 East Central Avenue (Downtown Bentonville Inc. office).


The Fine Print

Must be 18 years of age or older to register.

Downtown Dollars can be used as cash at participating businesses only.

No change will be given.

Registered participants must pick up Downtown Dollars by 5:30 pm on Friday, March 12th.

Abandoned Downtown Dollars will be put into weekend giveaways.

Downtown Dollars must be spent by close of business on Sunday, March 14th.

Multiple members of one household can only register for one set of $30 Downtown Dollars.

Downtown Dollars may not be used to purchase alcohol.

Downtown Dollars registration opts participants into DBI newsletter distribution list.

When do they expire?

Downtown Dollars are only accepted on March 12-14th and are invalid after the promotion dates.

Multicultural Performances

This is the first Dog Days of the year, a simple event where people bring dogs to the square for competitions and the dog parade. There are literally dog's everywhere! There are free dog treats and you can win some serious prizes for you and your dog.

Head over to the DBI booth in front of the Five and Dime to sign up for competitions like: Best Costume, Most Creative Name, and a Pet/Owner Look-a-like Contest. We have an awesome prize for each winner that you don't want to miss!

September First Friday: Art & Culinary begins at 11:00am on Friday, September 2, as food trucks open and live music plays on the Bentonville Square. At 3:00pm, activations and activities will open to the public and will feature a unique collaboration between our event team and the Northwest Arkansas Jazz Society, featuring an all-star lineup of some of the most talented jazz musicians in our region! Local Influencer @TheHangryPedaler will guide guests through his favorite food truck selections, plus over 80 local artists, artisans and craftspeople will showcase their talents on the Bentonville Square. You can expect chalk muralists, live painting, live iron forging, a percussion painting exhibit, and other hands-on art experiences.
